Borgo Gini is our family project, built for our children, to whom we want to experience the emotions of the land and the magic of the harvest.
The farm is a boutique farm located in the heart of Umbria, between the art cities of Orvieto and Todi and in the hills where the Etruscans once dwelled.
In the farmhouses, it is possible to savor the scents of the seasons that alternate painting unique landscapes between the Tiber Valley and the surrounding rolling hills.
We are small, but we care about doing things right, taking care of production from the plant to the mill in complete autonomy to avoid the slightest risk of altering the purely organic model in which we identify ourselves and which is part of our identity.
This production stems from the ambition to experiment in the wake of tradition, making use of the experience of those who have gone before us and trying to offer new stimuli to improve a complex product such as EVO oil, without affecting the natural simplicity of its genesis.
In the territory of Baschi, our olive grove is located on a hill that dominates the landscape, which is particularly suitable for growing olives (250 a.s.l.) and surrounded by sunshine and mild winds).
Organic cultivation of olive groves does not allow the use of either chemical fertilizers or synthetic pesticides.
